The company’s mission is to create a transparent and trustworthy marketplace that benefits both buyers and
sellers of pre-owned EVs.
TrusTerra’s tech stack spans mobile apps for end users and partners, predictive AI/ML engines for EV health & pricing, and a backend designed to power instant liquidity for EV assets.
We are looking for an AVP of Engineering to architect, lead, and scale this platform. A hands-on, entrepreneurial technology leader who can combine product vision with engineering execution.
You will be the architect and custodian of TrusTerra’s technology, building and scaling:
• Mobile apps for instant resale, valuation, and financing
• Backend systems running predictive Battery RUL (Remaining Useful Life) models
• Data science infrastructure for EV health, range, and valuation models
• LLM-powered automation tools for data manipulation, and logic-driven decision workflows
The role reports directly to the Founders and will be responsible for end-to-end tech ownership, from design and architecture to model deployment and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Platform Architecture
• Design and oversee architecture of TrusTerra’s core platforms:
o Android and iOS apps for users and dealers
o Dealer and partner dashboards
o Data & analytics backend integrating IoT, telematics, and financial data
• Architect scalable APIs and microservices to enable seamless partner integrations (OEMs, financiers,
dealers).
• Ensure modular design to support expansion across new geographies and product lines.
2. AI, ML & Data Infrastructure
Collaborate with the Data Science team to design and productionize:
o Battery RUL and SoH (State of Health) models
o Vehicle valuation algorithms and risk scoring systems (TruEV Score™)
• Lead backend engineers to operationalize real-time predictions and data ingestion pipelines.
• Work on automation using LLMs (Large Language Models) for:
o Data cleaning and preprocessing
o Logic and rule automation
o Dynamic query interpretation and dataset manipulation
• Establish MLOps practices — model retraining, drift monitoring, and performance validation.
3. Application Development & Delivery
• Lead development of mobile apps (Android/iOS) — app architecture, UX flow, backend integration,
and deployment pipelines.
• Oversee frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Django, etc.) teams.
• Define engineering sprints, delivery milestones, and release management.
• Ensure smooth data flow between apps, cloud, and analytics backend.
4. Leadership & Team Building
• Build and lead a strong engineering org; backend engineers, AI/ML specialists, DevOps, and product
developers.
• Mentor leads and developers; create ownership and accountability within the team.
• Establish best practices for code review, version control, security, and CI/CD.
• Create a collaborative culture that bridges product, design, data, and engineering seamlessly.
5. Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work directly with the Founders on product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Collaborate with the CEO’s office, operations, and product to design features and implement
feedback loops.
• Support fundraising discussions with technology insights, scalability, defensibility, and innovation
edge.
• Present architecture and AI capabilities to investors and partners.
Technical Skills & Background
Core Must-Haves
• 8–14 years of experience in software engineering, with 3–5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
• Proven experience building consumer applications (preferably Android/iOS and backend platforms).
• Expertise in backend frameworks — Python (FastAPI, Django) or Node.js, and cloud
(AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, time-series analytics, and API architecture.
• Hands-on with machine learning or data science production pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps tools and LLM integration is a strong plus.
Preferred
Worked in mobility, EV-tech, fintech, or AI-led product startups.

management deliverables for RePut.ai’s clients and digital platform. This position requires strong technical expertise in climate and sustainability frameworks, along with the ability to translate regulatory and reporting requirements into actionable insights and scalable digital workflows. The
role operates at the intersection of sustainability expertise, data, and SaaS-based climate solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support GHG inventories and carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2, and 3) in accordance with the GHG Protocol and relevant ISO standards
- Support ESG reporting and regulatory compliance across frameworks including BRSR, GRI, TCFD, and IFRS
- Conduct data validation, benchmarking, and audit-readiness assessments for sustainability datasets
- Support CBAM-related calculations, reporting, and ongoing compliance requirements
